When mine went bad, it done the same thing. I was at Pacific City Oregon, so I called Xantrex in Portland and they told me to take the inverter in to their shop there. They found what he called a mother board had gone bad. They replaced it and I installed it back. But when I installed it, it did not want to start right away until I unplugged a wire on the control panel which looked like a TV connection for a few seconds. Can't remember how many seconds they told me to unplug it and then reconnect it. Inverter started working right away. That was like ten years ago and have not had any more problems with inverters.
