Krylon Fusion spray paint is excellent to coat those yellowing parts. They won't yellow again.
You got that right!! Krylon Fusion is like a miracle product. Did the mirrors, stove vent, outside porch light and fridge vent on my first RV and it made the whole RV look like new. The trim around the window on the entrance door was black. I sprayed that white also and made the RV look 4 years newer. I sold that RV to a friend and 8 years later everything I sprayed with the Fusion is STILL white.
Incredible stuff.
I agree completely. I cleaned well with Acetone and applied two light coats of Krylon Fusion to many yellowing parts and they look great nbow.clydedoerr wrote:
If the mirrors were made by Velvac, they will replace them for free. They know they had apaint problem
. They replaced mine at no cost, and I kept the old ones I took off.
I did this also with my 2006 MH but that was a couple of years ago. You would need to contact velvac to see if they still offer this replacement program.
yes.
On the mirrors if you look close there is a pattern of yellow showing thru and they are not 'turning' overall yellow like the plastic trims do. The paint is wearing off in places and the base is yellow colored and showing thru.
