TPMS doesn't mean a thing if the tire blows from an age related characteristic.
It is good for checking current PSI condition before starting out though.
And, it also doesn't mean a thing when it blows on the front and, as observed in the video, INSTANTANEOUSLY. By the time your TPMS has picked up that incident, your coach is heading for landing on its side. If it were to blow a rear or, a trailer, then you'd have time to make some decisions.

How do we know it was an age related blow out?
Why couldn't it have been an under inflated heat related issue?
No TPMS will not detect a road hazard, or a age related problem. but it will certainly show a warning of over heat and pressure.
I'll defend against the ones I can and hope the other never happens.
