One problem with them is that most butchers trim them now. Decades ago they were meaty, but now it seems hard to find them that haven't sacrifice some lean to hamburger.
Virtually all the meats that used to be relegated to the cooler, you had to ask for them, or to the freezer have skyrocketed in price. It's ridicules.
$5.99 is probably about what they are here, the same as ribeyes on sale.
