Beer Bread
My 92 yr old mother has a recipe for beer bread but isn't sure if she should grease the pan. I'm pretty certain that any bread pan should be greased but decided to ask anyway just in case. Thanks....

This is an excellent recipe.You can also modify it by using ginger ale or a lemon lime soda and cinnamon, raisins, nuts, etc.
As far as greasing the pan, it depends. I bake in USA pans and a Lodge CI pan or for artisan a Lodge 2qt DO. I don't do anything to the USA, but I brush the CI with oil. I don't use teflon, but I would think a very light oiling would be advised.
