I'm sure any mix from KA will be great. If you read the directions for the mix you will see that doing their recipe that I posted and using the mix takes about the same effort.
The advantage of doing it from scratch is that you don't need to keep a single purpose mix on hand for those times you want waffles.
I like everything from King Arthur, but I suspect their "from scratch" recipe will produce even better waffles than their mix. For one thing the yeast will be fresh.
If you try the mux, let us know how it works.
