Biscuits
So I have a question. Hubby loves Biscuits and Gravy but we don't have an oven. Can you fry biscuits in a cast iron skillet? I know you can buy them already made, but we really don't like them.

Decent biscuits take plenty of fat and good flour like White Lily, only sold in the South. For camping I like the prepared ones that come in a tube.

White Lily is the "go to" biscuit flour in north carolina. my 86 year old mother still uses White Lily and she is a champion biscuit maker. wife and i have both tried making biscuits with White Lily over the years but can never get them like hers. She never measures anything, uses the "feel" technique to get the dough just right.
