We just make our usual stuff we make at home depending on our mood: much of it is in a dutch oven over the fire. We'll double the recipes and eat leftovers heated in the microwave. Our recipes are simple and let us spend less time prepping and more time eating and exploring. We also get a lot of fresh ingredients at farm stands.
We do pretty much the same thing. grabbing some things from a vegetable stand and combining it with some marinated meat or smoked sausage in foil. DO meal at least once and for deserts. Something to throw on the grill, vegetables and meat in either kabobs, individually, or in a SS grill pan to resemble a stir fry. In any decent weather cooking has to be outside, we cook in the kitchen at home, this is camping.
