Cast Iron Chefs: Florida Dutch Oven Gatherings

From The Central Florida Cracker Trail Chapter:
The Cracker Trail Chapter has set our schedule for this year. If you are in the area we would love to have you cook with us.

Tentative 2018-2019 DOG Schedule –

December 2, 2018 – Christmas Around the World – Your Heritage
Probably at Coleman’s Landing (near River Ranch)
Debbie Barber is checking to see if we can get in and if there will be camping available

January 13, 2019 – Citrus Theme – Cooking with Citrus
Mary Holland Park, Bartow, FL (no camping)

February 10, 2019 – Presidents Day Theme – Dishes favored by American Presidents or Ones Cooked at the Time of Their Presidency
Hardy Lakes Park near Wauchula
Note: many campgrounds are full this time of the year,
you need to call to see if you can get a reservation

March 17, 2019 – St Patrick’s Day or Mardi Gras Theme
Possibly at Lions Park in Lake Alfred – Valarie is going to check and let us know – no camping
We will be in touch with the definite location

April 28, 2019 – Cook What you Desire
Walk-In-Water Preserve near Babson Park, FL
(Primitive wildlife preserve-camping allowed – bring your own water. Port-a-jons on site.
