Digital Meat Thermometer

I have 2 Polders, one of which is 16 years old and still ticking, and a Maverick remote. I've never had a problem with pinching in the 3 smokers I use them in. I do wrap the portion of the cable that crosses inside my Big Easy, but it gets really hot, smokers don't get that hot in the silicone world.
I would hate to smoke anything without a temperature probe other than ribs.

I've gotten my last 2 units from Amazon and they also have the Polder replacement probes, but they aren't cheap so it's best to take care of them.
