I use an electric Cuisinart. I mostly do beans in it. I have done whole chickens but we don't eat much meat anymore. We eat beans for dinner once or twice a week. I sauté onions, carrots, garlic and celery in EVOO and cook the beans in vegetable stock add a can of tomatoes. 15 minutes, which is about an hour.
I have an induction burner too and love it.
I also made a Sous Vide cooker which totally love.
