Try crockpot lasagna. My whole family loves it!
Cook your meat (ground beef, sausage or a combo of both) and layer all the ingredients into the crockpot just like you would normally make it in the oven.
No need to cook the noodles. I normally use 1 lb. beef, 16 oz. ricotta, 2-3 cups mozzarella, 2 eggs, 2 jars of sauce, and a package of lasagna noodles. I have also used sausage, spinach, etc... The possibilities are endless.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours. I have found that I use more sauce in this recipe than I use in my oven recipe. I think it is because as the noodles cook, they soak up the sauce.
A few minutes before you want to serve, put a layer of mozzarella cheese on top and leave the cover off to let it melt. Serve with salad and garlic bread. Yum!
