Our Kitchen aid grinder has been going strong for over 10 years.Its not a huge grinder by any means, but will grind all day. We bought a small farm back then we started growing our own cows. We grind alot of our beef and at least 2 deer a year.
BTW the old dairy cows can be good burger, but the way they are fattened up with anti-biotics and hormones I would not let my kids eat that stuff
If one came through the sale barn and I could bring in home for 5-6 months and feed it out my way I would have no problem eating it or feeding it to my family.Its all on how the beef is raised and what it is feed We raise ours all natural no growth nothing, no antibiotics We also raise our own chicken for eggs.
