There are still butcher shops around, some may be called a meat market, but if you do a search in the area you are in, you will find something. Some are even "organic" and "hormone free". The one here locally even sells their ground meat at a price that is cheaper per pound that the tubed mush at the grocery stores. Another we were at had a special if you bought 10# or more at a time, making it cheaper than the other stuff. Just check around and you will find plenty of them.
Walmart sells tons of that "tube hamburger". If it was that bad peeple would be getting sick all over the U.S.!
