- rolling_rhodaExplorerThat hasn't been our experience. We harvest only in months ending in "y". The May crop tends to have slimmer stalks and be less stringy than July, but it depends on the weather.
- CasinojunkieExplorerI had heard that if you harvest when leaves are wet that the rhubarb that wasn't harvested will get rusty and not be good.

- Old_DaysExplorer IIMy wife makes the best rhubarb pie, she said it doesn't matter. Rhubarb is a weed it will always grow back even after a bad winter.
