When I was a teenager living in Taiwan, my girlfriend and I went to the American Club with her parents. They always let us drink Cherry Heering sours. Much later, by mother's friend, Marion, introduced me to a drink called a Bloody Sand. She made it with scotch, vermouth, Cherry Heering, and orange juice. I don't remember the exact amounts of anything, but I think it was pretty close to equal parts of each of them. I really liked it.
