Cherry Heering is a cherry liqueur that is produced in Denmark from an original 1818 recipe. It is to be sipped after dinner in polite company.
Those with a poor palate may wish to pour it over ice to dilute the intense flavors. Those with no idea of its true enjoyment may mix it with other spirits (usually vodka or rum) or even add seltzer water or (heaven forbid) a lemon/lime mixer.
Just pour a jigger or two in a cold, small glass then relax and ENJOY the delightful flavors and aromas from a truly unique product! (JMHO)
I was waiting for someone to say something like this. That's how I remember Cherry Heering. These days though its popular to try and make a mixer out of anything and everything.
