Now that I have your attention, do yourself a favor and get a Weber Q100 gas grill. Being in the market and after reading these posts I took the leap from charcoal to said grill. Other than my 21foot Bigfoot trailer this is the best thing I have bought for my life on the road. Fast, efficient, tasty and easy clean up. Q100 smallest and fits perfectly on my truck tailgate. DISCLAIMER: no I don't sell these grills. Lastly size is perfect for 2 or 3 people. DavidSocalSitting in Monroe, Michigan

Thanks for the info. We're thinking of buying one for use at home AND in the rig. We paid big money for the monster on our deck and after 5 yrs everything inside is rusted (been under protection the whole time) and the igniter quit......I refuse to pay big money again!!!!! At $149.00 and double useage, yeah, I'm ready to buy the Q100.

Q120 at lowes is great also. Nice stand also makes for double duty, RV and Patio, can't be beat.

I like the folding stand and the shelves on the 120. I know it isn't for everyone, but I like both for those parks that don't have a table.

I have a 100 and it's the best grill I've had. I put foil over the grill, turn it on high and as soon as the smoke stops the grill is burned clean. No more brushing and cleaning with compounds. Cooks great!!

I have a "barrel" type charcoal grill and there are some things I still cook on it, especially things that need to be cooked slowly, but I find myself using it less and less. The Q100 is just so handy. I use it at home and on the road.

So I can buy one of the "portable" models and get the cart separate? Yes, the cart is sold as an accessory and fits both the Q100 and Q200 series Webers. I've found it to be very handy and easy to set up. If I recall, the cart was around 50 bucks at the time I bought mine. Here's what they look like:

I was the same way until I bought this Q100 hence the title of this topic "I tell you true." :-)

i can't believe i'm that guy but a gas grill is a sin... i know charcoal or wood take longer but you just can't get the same taste out of a gas grill. now i'll get off my soapbox and say Weber makes great products gas or not.

Whether the Q120 or the Q100, these are the "Mercedes Benz" of tabletop BBQs! We are hoping that lightning strikes our Weber Go-Anywhere so we can upgrade! :)

The cart does come separate. It's pretty handy to have, especially where there is no table, or one you want use. The grill slides in on one edge and is very easy to remove, or you can use a Velcro strap provided to keep them together.
I find the stand awkward to unfold with the grill on it, not hard, just awkward so I generally pull the grill off of the stand, remove it from the bay and set it up, then set the grill back on it.
