I cook mostly outside on the picnic table . I have a NuWave like they sell on TV , but bought mine from Bed, Bath, and Beyond at a much better price . I like the idea that I can plug it in to any 15 - 30 amp line at the post and cook with great temperature control . It works on low power / temps or a high temperature to fry or sear .
Place a piece of newspaper or a paper towel between the cook surface and the pan , and there is no mess .
I use the induction portable and the microwave / convection . If I was ordering a new RV , it would not have a factory cook top .
Some of the best cooks and receipes are found in campgrounds !
