since that subject occasionally pops up here, I saw a cooktop and three pots/pans combination at Sam's club for $99.99. Seems a lot cheaper than ones previously discussed here. bumpy
Any 'magnetic' pot/pan will work just fine on any induction cooker
NuWave seems to have captured the market but many others are out there.
Duxtop 8300, Burton 6000 or 6200, Fagor 6700 have really good reviews.
I have a Burton 6200............it is FAST, maintains set temp and has wide cooking surface. BUT has 10 pre-set temps vs adjustable temp settings which is what NuWave uses (10*F increments)
Pricing is coming down on ALL of the portable units.
