July 4th Time for a new Weber Jumbo Joe

Check out Cajun Bandit for rotisserie and smoker/stacker for the little Weber.

Been using one for several years now. It's bigger then it looks. Can cook way more then 6 burgers at a time. The grate does not flip up - it lifts out. I just got the table for it - The two go together very well.

I like that you can close both dampers and then lock the lid to the bottom. Keeps ashes from getting all over when traveling.

All the help, info you can imagine for your Weber grills and smokers.

I forgot to put up the link for the rotisserie option.

Weber gets something like $150 for theirs and I dont think they make one for the 18" grill.

But there is an aftermarket one for about $90. Its on my wish list.

This will let you do beer but chickens or a bigger roast, even a turkey.

Looks like you can grill for up to 8 people on it depending on the food size; prolly 6 burgers at a time for larger foods. Cut the backbone out and a full sized chicken should fit under the dome.

Nice that it seems to come with a flip up grate and the traveling lock system appears very solid. About the only thing I wish Weber would change is to the full ash catcher you find on some of the larger kettles. Still adding a disposable foil pan would make a nice DIY low tech and cost mod.

Overall a nice addition to the portable Weber family and I'm sure you'll do it proud:c.

Slightly taller, wider and longer but still compact
Should be adequate fro small group

Cumbersome as it, I lug my 22" Weber Kettle around for weekend warrior camping, or the Q1200 for longer trips... its 20# propane tank also serving as my emergency reserve.
