Weber Q Mount

Does anyone have detailed pictures of how the Q mounts to that mount?

I agree that one of the best benefits is that I don't have to take up room in the back of the tow vehicle or in the TT storage bin for the WeberQ, it would just stay mounted on the bumper out of the way. The person I know who has this setup has a cover for the WeberQ that he secures with a couple of bungee cords. Definitely on the got-to-have list.

I like that option. You need to pay premiums to one up a factory option.

FWIW, I had a Baby Q with a pas trailer and to get it in the compartment I would pull the R clip and pins to remove the lid then lied it in sitting the lid back on top. Once out I'd install the pins and R clips and was good to,go.

I've got the same cart as APT and love it. You point to one downside though, you have to store it somewhere.

I would be a little concerned about the weight of the Q. It's heavier than most BBQ's. Lots of cast iron as opposed to thin metal and a light weight bar grate. As long as the wall bracket is very secure it should work. The bumper mount would be the safest.

I went to Lowes and got a 24" metal strip that has a fold along both sides. I then drilled 2 holes that match the screw placements on the Q frame/stand back. I removed the Q screws, held my mount strip to line up the holes and re-applied the screws. The top side of my mount strip now just slips onto the swing out bumper mount. No pics cause TT is in winter storage. It cost me about $6.

I have a similar mount with a crappy grill on it. I wanted to remove that grill and attach my Q also. Looking forward to the answers.
