Weber Q3200 grill

We've used a Weber for over 20 years and absolutely love it! For RVing we carried a separate propane tank and a quick connect so we could place the grill wherever we wanted on the site.

Weber products in general are good but I would go look at one to see if you could drill or mount a bracket to connectit to your bumper mount. While you may not currently need a bumper mount, a future trip could leave you somewhere without a table to set it on and it would be nice to have the swing arm.

Good point. Currently we only visit "Fancy" campgrounds with all of the amenities, but as the kids get older we may find less "civilized" places to camp.

We have used the Weber Q 220 for several years and IMO it is the best portable grill you can get. The only let down on the new ones (IMO) is the porcelain cast iron grate vs the cast iron they used to have. I prefer the original cast iron without porcelain that is still like new after years of use. It is heavier but retains heat wonderfully. It is one of the few portable propane grills you can sear a steak on. We also have a full length cover and the portable cart that works excellent and makes it a pleasure to grill on. It should also be reassuring parts will not be an issue through Weber. IMO there is no better portable propane grill.

I fed several hundred people off a Q100 one time.
Never needed a bigger one.

Trust me, you can't go wrong with a Weber....

Besides my smoker I have two Weber Grills one of them is 22 years old and I can still buy parts for it - not bad investment IMHO. My 10 year old Q100 has been great for our family and RVing.

That said be watchful that Weber has started making most of their grills in China and in reading various BBQ forums they've had serious quality issues.

Would I buy another, perhaps but I won't expect it to last 22 or 10 years sadly.

I have the big Weber at home with the base. Hose plumbed direct to a quick disconnect from the house propane. No need for little tanks. I think if you leave the base off there would be no place for the drip tray but the pads are threaded so it would not be difficult to add short feet.

Historically, Weber, makes excellent products and although I use charcoal instead of propane not sure I'd spend 500 bucks for a grill that I would then tear apart.

Have you considered Magma's line of propane marine grills? Well regarded products, less expensive and easier to mount w/o losing the benefits you are paying for.

That is good to know.

I cannot find any of these grills in stock at the local stores. I may have to try an outdoor living store. I would like to get a good look at it before I spend $400 on a grill.
