I have seen replacement grills for the Weber Q series, I can't ever wearing one out, must be broken from dropping! - nineoaks2004ExplorerI have a friend, his webber died on him and the grill actually rusted, he called Webber and they told him to take it to Lowes (I think)give them the old one and pick up his new one. Can't beat a warranty like that..

I have the cheaper stamped grill on my old Weber Genesis at home (not the heavier cast iron grills) and they've finally rusted out after 15 years and have a few holes in them. The wife wants me to buy a new Weber but replacement grills are a fraction of the price. Otherwise, the grill is like new and works like the day I bought it. - Ron3rdExplorer III

X2, the Q grills are cast iron and should last virtually forever. Dropping them is another story! - SoundGuyExplorerWeber service - terrific? Ha, that's a good one - not here in Canada where one can buy just about any Weber grill in pretty well any big box store but can't get replacement parts for love nor money! :M Weber used to have another company rep them here in Canada but apparently that's gone away ... when I inquired about a replacement regulator for my Q120 at a local BBQ store that sells Weber I was referred to Weber USA. Add exchange rate, freight charges, brokerage, plus any other fees that could be tacked on and I'd be paying twice the US value for that replacement part. :M I ended up having an American friend order my replacement parts online and getting them later from him when we camped together. My Q120 is now once again up and running but now the regulator on my Q220 (which I've already had replaced twice under warranty) has failed yet again so now I'll have to go through this routine all over AGAIN. :M I've used Weber Q grills for years, both for camping and here at the house, but won't ever buy one again because replacement parts are just so difficult to get here in Canada. :M
- Cummins12V98Explorer IIIHad a Baby Q since 05 still cleans up and works like new.
- tragusa3ExplorerGlad to see this thread. I've been telling my Weber story to everyone that I can. I have a 15 year old Genesis (among 5 other Weber grills). The stainless burners on my Genesis rusted through when it was a year past the 10 year warranty. I was calling them with a few questions and they offered me new burners at no charge ($60). Never had that happen with any other type of product.
Today, I received delivery of our new Weber Q 2200. It came with a broken piece out of the box. They asked no questions...sending me the new piece.
I just told my wife that (at age 45) I'll never have to buy another grill for camping. She replied that we'll have our Genesis that long too. I have no doubt. - B_O__PlentyExplorer III love my Weber Q. I tried out one my kid had 6 years ago and had to have one. Since I got mine I have had 3 friends get one just like it. It's the only grill I use anymore..
