Using the propane connector would make me have to get too close to the trailer wall anyway...
I have to have the 1LB canisters around for my back-up heat anyway using the Mr Buddy heater...

I use my propane connector. I'm 23' away. Any furher I'd have to rent the next RV sight. :B Take the Camco connector to a propane dealer and they will make any length hose you want. 50', 100'? Most propane dealers don't have the Camco type connector that fits RVs. you would be safer at a couple of feet than carrying a propane cylinder inside an RV while traveling. TTs and 5ers have advantage in that area. You can carry them in the back of the PU.
