One is not superior to the other, littlemo. Some prefer one way, others something different. I can see a Marine taking care of his grill just like his battle gear.
And some live in regions or locales that discourage you from grilling year round. Northern winters are not conducive to cooking on decks,terraces, roof tops(where I occasionally grilled) and backyards. Most I know tarp and bungee cord their grills during the colder months.
