I make Buckeyes every year and they are devoured. You could use the same recipe and shape them into eggs.
1 1/2 sticks margarine
18 oz. jar creamy peanut butter
1 lb. powdered sugar
scant 2 c. Rice Krispies,
2 lbs, bulk dipping chocolate
Mix together all ingredients, except the chocolate. Use less than the 2 cups of krispies until you make sure it is not going to be too dry. You want it to hold together well. Shape. I make balls but you could make eggs. Dip into melted chocolate, drain, place on wax paper until chocolate hardens.
We use a toothpick to dip and smooth over the hole when we put it on the paper.
I have used butter and in this instance the margarine tastes better. We use Imperial or Blue Bonnet. This is the only time I ever use margarine.
