I love my NuWave 2 it draws a maximum of 1300 watts. On lower settings it draws less power, unlike a hot plate.
I solved the energy problem by getting a Hybrid load support inverter. That allows me to run the roof air, water heater, fridge and induction cooker all at once on a 30 amp supply.
