Our old rig only had a small microwave & no oven. I had bought a toaster / convection oven. I went to Bed Bath & Beyond for the purchase. What I did was check that a round pizza tray would fit in there & a cookie sheet. This way I knew I'd be able to bake what we would want. The one I bought was larger. For storage I put it under the dinette with a towel over it. It also did time outside when the weather would permit. We also used our grill a lot for baking.
Our new rig has the micro/convection & I really like it. I don't experience near the heat from it. Still learning all it can do!
Remember that the sides of the toaster/convection ovens get HOT! And most need space behind for venting when in use.
