Loulou, Spam is like super processed, over salted, ham. I, personally, love it. My BF, he won't touch it. It's best sliced thin, fried in just a bit of oil until it is browned and crisp around the edges, then put it between bread with a little ketchup. Baked spam is really good too, you stud the little loaf with whole cloves and baste it in a glaze made from brown sugar, mustard, and vinegar. It's like a Christmas ham!
