If I recalled correctly from my stocking shelf days, there were a couple of other canned item's I recall being in the same category as Spam. One was Scrapple and I think Amour made a canned item called "Treat". I also, on occasion, get a hankering for Spam for breakfast and as pointed out, Hawaii is famous for their consumption of Spam. Oh.....Spam, even back in those Grocery days, flew off the shelf so someone must like it.
