- ICamelExplorerWe received a Farberware cookware set as a wedding gift over 40 years ago that is still used today. We purchased open stock Farberware pots and pans that are permanent cookware items in our 5'r. They have been in use for almost 15 years. It would be a good decision to go that direction when making a purchase.
- DurhamcutterExplorer/Faberware is wonderful and will last a lifetime, is not cheap but well worth the money, and is true 100 percent stainless and can be used on anything.
- Opie431ExplorerMy ReverWare is almost 70 years old and still in great shape. I pick up more every time I see some at a rummage or garage sale. I bought some Farberware new that I have been very happy with to take in the trailer.
- StraboExplorerCuisinart. Only cause I had enough Albertsons grocery store stamps to get 3 different types, very nice cookware I think.
- Steve_B_ExplorerFarberware. Lasts forever. Look for good buys when the Christmas ads start coming out. I got a nice set for half price at Kmart a couple of years ago. Manufacturing moved overseas, but I'm still happy with the new set, and I like the glass tops.
- SolidAxleDurangExplorer IIDon't forget to buy your "Barkeeper's Friend" to clean your SS with.
- WanderlostNomad IIWe bought a set of Cuisinart stainless for the RV. Liked 'em so much we moved them into the house and got something else for the RV. Oven and dishwasher safe, and when something sticks to them (usually on the outside), a little Barkeepers Friend and a scrubber takes care of that. 11 years and they still shine like new.

All-Clad is one of the best for stainless cookware. For an excellent alternative check out Tramontina Tri-Ply. I have several pans and they are almost identical to All-Clad. Check Walmart's web site for Tramintina.

Actually, I do believe our large pot is Tramontina, and it is of good quality. - vic46ExplorerIf you may have an induction cook top in your future be sure that the cookware you purchase is ferrous metal. Non-ferrous will NOT work in an induction environment.
Vic - Shortie3ExplorerI am still using my Farberware that I received as a wedding gift 50+ years ago. Over the years I added my grandmother's and mother's Farberware so have quite a large collection: Almost every piece gets used during holidays, family get togethers and other special occasions. Will pass to my goddaughter before I pass as she has expressed interest in the collection.
