- Super_DaveExplorerMy unofficial poll from all the replies seems to indicate that there are more "breast" people here. Yet, I always seem to have to fight for my dark meat. I think we need to start bio - engineering more dark meat on a turkey.

We are going here. - IdahoanExplorerI did Thanksgiving for myself and two children one year. I just got a turkey breast instead of whole bird. We had all the normal fixings to go along, just in smaller batches.
- rvtenExplorerIt is also all you can eat. The line is out the door every year.
They do an Easter dinner also. - Super_DaveExplorer

It's usually all the vegetables and pies that hold my interest ;-).
How about baking all pies? For veggies, a hearty pot pie and then a couple of dessert pies. I would truly be thankful for a day of nothing but pies!!! - PenManExplorer

Hats off to you for being a wonderful rv friend.
Well it sounds like you have the essentials covered. Have a great Thanksgiving! - RoadLifeExplorerAw, Penman, that is so sweet. Our homebase is Santa Fe, so we live not too far from you. We are actually looking forward to Thanksgiving here at Elephant Butte. I'm just looking for different ideas on the feast. It will probably depend on whats available in the store - our freezer is full of tamales, enchiladas, manicotti, chicken and steaks.
Hats off to you for being a wonderful rv friend. - PenManExplorerAre you in a state park in NM? If you're close to Albuquerque you're welcome to join us. Just my wife and adult kids so far but we're always open to new friends.
