I just made an experimental horseradish & garlic cream sauce that tastes pretty darn good for not having a chance for the flavors to fully marry. I started like I was making my garlic aioli and then added enough horseradish to just burn my tongue. I'm excited about dinner and I haven't even had lunch yet.
I love horseradish. Did this work out well?
It was flipping fantastic! It was great the first night for dipping meat bites and yesterday was the spread for my prime beef sandwiches. The sandwich was probably the best I've ever eaten.
1 cup mayo
4 - 5 cloves minced garlic
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
Start with 2 or 3 Tbsp of hot horseradish and keep adjusting for taste. Let it sit in the frig for a couple of hours for all the flavors to fuse.
