When my husband goes camping with his buddies I sometimes buy a loaf of thick sliced french bread, do the whole thing up as already-cooked French toast, and stack it back in the bag. Keeps well either frozen or just refrigerated- depends on how long you want to keep it.
Throw a couple slices in the frypan/griddle to reheat after you've cooked your bacon, or if you have a gas grill just put them on there.
We never have ac power but for those who do and want to reheat that way, I recommend a plain ol' toaster over the microwave, which I think makes bread things tough.
