This isn't cut and dried. While I agree it could be a good option, you have to get around the regulator on the Weber.
All the options I listed above ONLY work with the Weber regulator, so touching the regulator is not an issue. If you want to remove the Weber regulator (takes maybe 10 seconds), that is a discussion for another day, and I have a rather extensive post on the subject complete with a parts list for those who are interested in taking "regulated" gas off their trailer as I do now for my Q/sans regulator.
