Weber Q to propane tank

First, I'm not mentally (or ability-wise) prepared to modify the Weber Q to support the lower pressure system from the RV. I'm generally not mechanically inclined and life/death of propane is above my pay grade.

That said, here's what I'm thinking:

1) Get a "Y" coming off of a tank and put it between it and the regulator/autochangeover:

2) Get a hose to go from one side of that "Y", down the bottom of the propane compartment and out to the Weber Q:

I read the comments on Amazon and it seems that I'll be able to leave this "Y" permanently connected and only connect the grill when I need to since the "Y" should have a check-valve on either side.

I plan on the side with the Weber always having propane. So, I'm not worried about it being on the auto-changeover.

Thoughts? Comments?
