Were I a betting woman I'd guess it was CI's updated version of Julia Child's recipe:). I haven't done the CI version yet but talked about it a lot with my cyberwomen on a different forum. Spatchcocking it makes for a fast cooking bird and the brining allows the white meat to remain moist. Best of many worlds IMO. Now I have to go back to that site and renew the annual Turkey Wars;).
