Bought a replacement grill from Wal-Mart. Since many campsites use old truck rims it fits in the bead grove. Also have 3 small c clamps I use if it won't fit. Have a tripod grill that's kind of fun. Figure I have a campfire I might as well use it. Also like playing with the Dutch Oven.
Have a Weber Smoky Joe that works but not as fun as playing with the fire.
Cooking over a fire is an art. Have resect for them old cooks that a fire was their only option.
Each to their own but not a fan of gas. To easy, just light and cook. No challenge. Personally think food tastes better cooked over a fire.
