Your Must Have Spices When RVing?

Which ones are always in your RV pantry?

Herself always brings garam masala and curry for a taste of India. I'm partial to garlic, bacon, salt, pepper, bacon, cumin, chili powder, bacon, and hot sauce. Did I mention bacon already? I think bacon should be its own food group :c :w
  • Salt
    Pepper
    Lawry's Seasoned Pepper
    Lawry's Seasoned Salt
    Garlic Powder
    Garlic Salt
Bac-o-bits or "Shakable Bacon" (my patent pending btw)
    Ground Parsley
    Ground Cilantro
    Montreal Steak Seasoning
    Chopped Dehydrated Onions
Sugar (not a seasoning, but still...)
  • Other than salt & pepper, I always carry Garlic powder, Parsley, Basil, Oregano, Cilantro, Chili powder, Cumin, Paprika (both regular & smoked) Celery seed & Grains of Paradise. I usually also carry Cinnamon & Cardamon for making Blueberry Pies.
  • I base my spice/herb bring alongs on my menu for the most part.
Yeah, I'm one of those lists beget lists people.

The seasonings that are must haves are the following:

    kosher or sea salt

    peppers

basil, parsley, and garlic pastes found in the refrigerated section of the produce aisle.Stuff of beauty and so glad someone thought it up.

    tarragon, thyme, oregano and rosemary

home mixed Creole seasoning is a current must have but it's always avail to change to what I feel like learning/cooking.
  • My pantry is tiny, but I always bring a black pepper grinder, Lawry's seasoned salt, an Italian seasoning grinder, Montreal Steak Seasoning, and Victoria's Sesame Ginger seasoning. (No bacon, but sounds like a good idea.)
