Americamps RV Park Ashland, VA

We stayed there last year, it was a combination KOA and Americamps. I attempted to make online reservations a couple of weeks ago but did not see any provision for my KOA discount so I discontinued the reservation attempt and sent them a message asking if they were still a KOA and accepting the discounts. I received an auto reply thanking me for the message and someone would get back to me. I received no reply and sent another message but it has been two weeks and no response. I have made reservations somewhere else.

I stayed there about 10 days ago. Called/message & text message on website. no respoonse.
Next day called in morning and the phone was answered. Made reservations. Had no more problems.

I agree with you about contacting them. Not a great first impression.
I would stay there again.

Less than 10 miles North is Kings Dominion Campground related, yet removed from, the amusement park. It is several miles off the Interstate so you don't get that noise, and the sites are bigger. Check it out:

Same for us... Waited for the next day and called, spoke to a human and made my reservation... My only issue with here is if your in one of the front sites you will think that our camping on the side of 95... Well actually you are :B

We called in morning, no problem. As long as you are in the middle or back noise is OK. When we checked in were asked for AAA or AARP or GS for discount. That was yesterday. Will do my rvparkreviews in a day or so.
