Any "must haves" for camping with kids?

Two way radios for communication with then at Campsite. Extra shoes. Water shoes, glow Sticks, Frisbee, balls, inflatable water toys, bug spray, sunscreen, lots of extra clothing.

I agree with what everyone else has said, games both inside and out, rain gear and extra cloths. I also like to stop by Red Box to get a couple movies for the evening.

As a family with 4 (or more (we do foster care) kids ages 5-18 may I suggest UNO card game. Any version. Also dollar store rain poncho's. We live in Oregon and camp almost year round. If we waited for good weather we would cheat ourselves out of the best camping. Also take lots of pics as they turn into gold with time. Senes of humor, sense of adventure. Great memories await!

bicycles and box for small interesting rock collections while hiking/walking/exploring.

Whistles to hang around necks in case they get lost

Extra clothes to play in the rain. Sometimes the only way to calm them down is to go out and play in the puddles.

Indoor rainy day activities; books, games, books, puzzles, books.

Please, check your tires, they may have tread, but age can play a major role in "failure"
