Look for cracker barrel restaurants if you need to pull over and sleep. We often use them with our kids (6&9) - they are quieter than a truck stop, easier than a campground if you're just need 4-5 hours so you can keep going, and they have the added benefit of awesome breakfast/dinner for when you wake up and the kids need to move a bit.
