Sharing my trip to Mackinac Island - Must visit, Period!

I think Dick_B was referring to bicycles? (At least I hope so!) Lots of bikes on the island, and you can rent them as well as bring your own.

What we loved was the garbage trucks - big tall wagons pulled by a couple draft horses. :)

The only motorized vehicles allowed on the island are police cars, fire trucks and ambulance - and I believe only one (or a very few) of each. Wonderful place, one of my favorites since childhood.
