Your fav spot between Blythe & Yuma along the Co. River?

I plan to spend a day this month camping along the Colorado river, between Blythe & Yuma & if I go the Yuma way I'll probably spend my 1st night along the Salton sea.

But I see many campgrounds to choose from some are lakes & others are just river.

I will have our 95 lb dog with us & want a place he can swim & I can get in some fishing.

Using the AllStay app on my I-Pad I see too many to choose from, so I was hoping you people might have some suggestions?

    Uhmmmmm.....

    I live in Los Angeles & heading to Az & was either going to stay north on the 10 or drop south to the 8 being I'm heading to the Tucson area.

    So not sure what your saying?

    I like the KOA in Blythe, I don't think it is a KOA anymore, but they have a nice dog area and beach on a protected cove off of the river, my 95 lb golden loves to swim there
