Sorry to hear about Andy. I've had to say good-bye to two of my children because of cancer, and it was much further progressed by the time we saw enough changes in behavior to look for cancer. Make his time special.
I do know there have been advances in treating cancer in pets, but a lot depends on how early it is detected, what kind, etc.
