He also has a heart murmur. He was given a B12 shot today and I was told how to prepare a home cooked diet so his appetite would be better. But I was also told that he may not last longer than a month, perhaps longer, most likely sooner. I really expected to have Andy more than the 4 1/2 years I have since I adopted him. All I can say now is that I will do what I can to make him comfortable in his last days with us, and I wish someone would find a cure for cancer.

Did he get an ultrasound or abdominal radiograph or both? It is not always easy to distinguish a liver mass from spleenic based on palpation, and the course of action can be different.
