Well, I've been giving him home cooked meals - chicken and rice or chicken and pasta and veggies (green beans) and he's been eating everything - licking the bowl clean! He's also been eating the new Prescription Diet KD kibble I've been offering him. No vomiting or diarrhea and he seems more alert and not sleeping so much. I think the B12 shot helped, and I'm going to take him to the vet Monday morning for another injection. I read on the Internet that sometimes you need a series of B12 injections to obtain results. So far, his appetite has increased, and I believe he might have even gained a little more weight this past week. The vet said that sometimes these animals fool you - you think they might not last long and then they rally and recover to a certain degree. At this point, I think he'll be around for Christmas - maybe even a little longer. I'll just keep on with the better diet, the injections, and most of all, love and prayers. It was a very happy Thanksgiving for us!
