Our two eat Flint River Fish and Chips. We started using it years ago for our lab who has a grain sensitivity and have fed it to all our others since. Our little rat terrier gets the same but had a little wet Prescription diet mixed in. Not that she needs it but she likes it. We had the wet ID for our Maltese and her pancreatitis, so when she passed, I wanted to use it up so gave it to Mica. I tried a lean over the counter canned, but it upset her stomach. The few extra dollars for the case is worth it. As for the Flint River, it's mail order, fresh, never a recall, and shipping is included in the price. Since this is all my dogs eat, the extra price is worth it for them.
