We have not seen a BlueJay in our area in several years. I don't even remember the last time.
Yesterday and today there a large number of them. They flew between the big oaks and in the woods.
One or two Jays would fly into one and then three or four Mocking Birds would be right alone.
Not one of them made any sounds.
I don't know what they were feeding on or anything. a few Hawks high up riding the air currents in circles like Vultures.
Something has changed dramatically for no Blue Birds for decades and all of a sudden we are swarmed with them.
